Tracy Van Nunnery and Ron Metts are two office escapees who manage to retreat into the studio monthly to create cinematically-tinged, organic, electronic music while also staying true to their musical past with covers uniquely interpreted the Second October way. After too many years separated by the entire expanse of the United States living on opposite coasts, they have found themselves within a few hours of one another and reignited their mutual passion for the music that they always meant to create before “life” intervened.

STATIONARY NOMAD is the third entry in Second October’s New Wave Noir series of EPs. Here is a brief recap of the series storyline:

    • Now, with STATIONARY NOMAD, the listener gets an insight into the protagonist’s reaction to her return. As always, Second October has included a complementary cover with the classic early ’80s indie alternative hit by Echo & the Bunnymen, “The Killing Moon”. And it’s not quite the version of “The Killing Moon” fans will remember, as it features several orchestral elements and highlights Turkish duduk artist Erkan Erginci!
